UK Golf Academy is a golf driving range in Essex that specialises in coaching and custom-fitted golf clubs. The range is of a very high standard, using only top quality range balls, mats and high tech LED floodlights.
Employing PGA professionals and very low handicap golfers who aspire to reach the same level, UK Golf Academy aim to provide top-quality coaching and club-fitting in a friendly, yet professional environment.
The challenge
Before RotaCloud, director Craig Stephenson and his team used a spreadsheet to plan their rotas. The system wasn’t, however, without its problems.
“It was complicated for staff to follow, and very time consuming for me to keep up-to-date,” Craig told us.
“At the end of each month, I had to spend valuable time adding up overtime and undertime and the spreadsheet took ages to open, so it was always a pain to quickly check rotas and holidays. Then there were there times when we had conflicting copies... nightmare!”
I started the free trial straight away and in no time at all had created a rota for the year.

“One Christmas, after panicking about whether or not our staff knew the amended rotas, I found RotaCloud,” Craig said.
