Background
KeyPlus Security offer a range of patrol and response security services to hundreds of clients in Burnley and further afield. Their services include keyholding, alarm response, and mobile patrols. The challenge
KeyPlus have ambitious plans for the business, but Managing Director Brian Curran explained that their previous rota systems had been letting them down.
“We used to build Excel spreadsheets to manage the rota, and later invested in a bespoke FileMaker database so that we could produce payroll information each month.”
But these tools each had their own problems. Staffing levels were inaccurate due to Excel formula mix-ups, and the FileMaker database required everything to be printed out.
Shift swaps and leave requests are all managed online and with zero effort from managers.
